We'd like for you to call this school and find out if and how they serve school breakfast. You can watch our short training video here, or follow our Do's and Don'ts for when you call a school:

When you call this school, DO…

  • Be courteous, friendly, and polite.
  • Ask only the questions in the pop-up to the right.
  • Be willing to give them your name, and tell them you are calling because you are a concerned citizen.
  • Thank the person on the other end of the line for his or her time.
  • Keep the conversation short and to the point, respecting the time of the person at the school.
  • Call schools between 9am and 1pm local time.

When you call this school, DO NOT…

  • Call a school if it's already mapped.
  • Advocate for specific policies. Please only ask the information-gathering questions to the right in the pop-up.
  • Represent yourself as a staff member of Share Our Strength or No Kid Hungry. It's much more effective if you are representing yourself: a concerned citizen.
  • Be belligerent or abrasive. Above all, be respectful.
  • Call schools before 9am or after 1pm local time.

In 2012, Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign collaborated with Deloitte on a project to identify the potential long-term impact on children in need who are participating in the federal School Breakfast Program.
